MDTP - Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project
CSU/UC MDTP is a California project that develops, distributes, scores, and reports the results of tests that measure student readiness for mathematics courses ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. MDTP provides materials and services to California teachers and schools at no cost to the school or district because of the support of the California Academic Partnership Program. Diagnosing a student’s mathematical strengths and weaknesses can help that student focus on areas needing review to increase the chance of success in mathematics.

If your California school already participates in this program, you may request the MDTP answer keys (skeleton tests) from Datawise. MDTP test booklets must still be used and may be ordered through MDTP sites. You can then use MEASURES to give the MDTP tests. MEASURES reports will be immediately available, and the data for each class will automatically be sent to MDTP so that MDTP can mail its diagnostic reports to teachers.
